Theory driving test

By passing the theory exam the student receives a certificate that is valid for one year. This theory certificate is needed in order to apply for the practical exam.
Condition for both exams is that the student is 18 years or older.

A tot Z driving school can provide students the right material for the theory part. We offer theory package consisting of a theory book and CD-ROM for your practice as in the theory exam.

From March 1, 2009 the theory exam is divided in three parts:
- Threat recognition (25 questions)
- Traffic (30 questions)
- Traffic & Understanding risks (10 questions)

The threat recognition component is required since March 1, 2009. The answers are focused on brakes, gas release (extra careful) or just continue driving. The questions asked by images of traffic situations on large TV monitors.
You will succeed the test when you answer correctly 12 of the 25 threat recognition and 35 of the 40 highway and traffic insight.

In 2009 you pay 32.45 Euros, for the theory exam and you can book at the CBR website. www.cbr.nl
